What are the disadvantages of solar power?

1. Though sun is a powerful source of energy but it is not always consistent and reliable. Some of the places are less sunnier than others, so everyone cannot harness the power of the sun. Thus is the major disadvantage of solar power.

2. The cost of solar collecting products are very expensive where as the maufacturing costs of other energy resources, like fossil fuels is much less.
