Disadvantages of wiring in series in a house:
In series, only one switch is used for all the appliances present in the connection.
So, if there is a failure or fuse in one circuit, then all the other appliances will also stop working.
Also, since all the appliances have only one common switch, so it is not possible to switch “on” and “off” each and every appliance separately.
