The following diseases are caused by nematodes:

  1. Ascariasis: Ascariasis is caused by an intestinal parasite called ascaris which is also known as roundworms.
  2. Hookworm: Hookworm infection is an infection by a type of intestinal parasite known as hookworm.
  3. Filariasis: Filariasis is a parasitic disease caused by infection with roundworms of the filariasis type.
  4. Enterobiasis: Enterobiasis is a human parasitic disease caused by pinworms.
