Open in App
Solution

Dear student,

Spectral response is affected by the atmospheric gases. Due to the atmospheric scattering and absorption, the spectral response may be varied. Its effect depends on the quantity under investigation that how much is it getting affected by the atmosphere. The spectral range is chosen in such a way that they have the least effect.
