What are the functions of RNA in cells? what is the structural, chemical and functional difference between RNA and DNA

Dear student, The primary role of RNA is to convert the information stored in DNA into proteins, cell signalling etc. Structurally: RNA is single stranded but DNA is double stranded. Chemically: RNA is less stable than DNA. Functionally: RNA is playing role in protein synthesis and DNA is involved in inheritance.
