Solution
Blastocyst:
The blastocyst is made up of three cell lineages: pluripotent epiblast (EPI) cells, which create the embryo itself, extraembryonic TE cells, and primitive endoderm (PE) cells, which contribute to the placenta and yolk sac, respectively.
The mass of cells inside the primordial embryo that will eventually give rise to the definite structures of the foetus is known as the inner cell mass (ICM) or embryoblast during the early stages of mammalian development.
This structure develops during the initial stages of development, prior to implantation into the uterine endometrium.
The ICM is completely surrounded by the single layer of cells known as the trophoblast and is located inside the blastocoele.
