In a pond, biotic components include the plants, fishes and insects while abiotic components include sunlight, air, soil, rocks and water.
Small plants in pond prepare their own food, in presence of sunlight and carbon dioxide from atmosphere whereas rocks provide shelter to the fishes which are biotic-abiotic type of interactions.
In addition, biotic-biotic interactions happen too. Plants attract insects for the fishes to feed on. Some fishes feed on the plants. And large fishes feed on the small fishes.
