There are three main layers found in the earth’s interior. They are as follows:
Crust: This is the outermost layer and is composed of rocks, minerals and other components like landforms and waterforms.
Mantle: This is the middle layer and is the largest layer with respect to the volume. It is composed of molten lava.
Core: This is the innermost layer and is composed of Nickel and Iron. It is also the hottest layer.
