The major types of vegetation found in Asia are:
  • Tundra vegetation

Tundra vegetation:
Tundra type of vegetation is mostly covered by snow and ice.
It is found mainly in Arctic regions like Russia in Asia. Lichens and mosses are commonly found. Because plant growth is limited due to frost.

Equatorial forests:
The equatorial forests are mainly found in East Asia. One of the specialities of these forests are the trees shed their leaves in different seasons, this is what makes the forest look evergreen all the time. The trees will be tall too.
Ebony, mahogany, rubber, and rosewood is commonly found in equatorial forests.
