4. Cancer can also be detected using cancer markers. These markers are secreted by the tumour tissues into the blood.

5. Genetic testing is used to detect predisposition to developing cancer.

6. Needle biopsy is also done to detect cancer.

7. Ultrasound examination is done to detect cancer of pancreas, liver, kidneys.
