PUC standards vary for different types of vehicles and the fuel.
Following are the permissible levels of pollutants emitted from a vehicle for a light duty diesel vehicle:

CO: 0.50-0.74 g/km

HC + NO_x: 0.30-0.46 g/km

NO_x: 0.25-0.39 g/km

PM: 0.025-0.6 g/km
