When calcium nitrate is heated then the below given reaction takes place :

${\text{2Ca(NO}}_3{\text{)}}_2\stackrel{∆}{\to }{\text{2CaO + 4NO}}_2{\text{+ O}}_2$

Product obtained on heating calcium nitrate are :

• Calcium oxide
• Nitrogen dioxide
• Oxygen
