What are the similarties and differences between the small farmers and landless labours ?Discuss

Similarities

a. Small farmers and landless labour have very less capital and generally seek loans from informal sectors.
b. Most of these small farmers and landless farmers are victims of seasonal nature of work.


Differences:

a. Small farmers have small and fragmented land holdings ,landless farmers on the other hand do not have land and work on other's land as labour.
b. Landless farmer since has no land to depend on , they are worst affected and are poverty ridden. Small farmers at least have small piece of land which they can give on lease or contract.
