Nucleoplasm

  1. The nuclear envelope encloses a liquid ground substance called nucleoplasm.
  2. It is a fibrous, transparent, semi-solid granular substance that fills the nucleus.

The structures present in it are :

  1. Chromatin fibers which is a part of the genetic material in the form of thin long threads.
  2. The nucleolus is a core of RNA and proteins and forms ribosomes.
