Open in App
Solution

Rheumatoid arthritis is the condition in which the individual suffers from chronic painful inflammation of the synovial membranes of many joints simultaneously. In severe cases, it may lead to crippling deformities, fever, anaemia and loss of weight etc. It ultimately leads to erosion of joints and may begin at any age.

Osteoarthritis is a type of joint disorder which occurs due to aging and extensive use of joints.

The symptoms of this disease are stiffness and pain of joint muscles, joint swelling, cracking sounds while moving, morning stiffness (just after waking up) etc.

Different types of steroid injections are applied to reduce pain and swelling. Moreover by taking healthy diet, proper exercise and by maintaining body weight osteoarthritis can be avoided.
