Solution
Eukaryotes:
Organisms whose cells have a well-defined nuclear membrane and all organelles are membrane-bound are called eukaryotes.
The cell which has a nuclear membrane around the nucleus is called a eukaryotic cell.
The chromosomes (composed of DNA and histone proteins) are located inside the nucleolus of the eukaryotic cell.
Structural genes of eukaryotes can be grouped based on their function:
Cellular genes: These are genes that are responsible for cellular functions like an ionic exchange, synthesis of the cell's membrane, etc.
Tissue level genes: These are tissue-specific genes that work towards the specific function of the tissue.
Organ system genes: These genes are responsible for the function of a particular organ. For instance, the cells constituting the thyroid gland are responsible for the release of thyroxin.
