What are the two components of the biosphere?
Biosphere: It refers to the Earth's system where life exists. It comprises both the lithosphere (landmass) and hydrosphere (water bodies).
There are two components of the biosphere:
(i) Biotic Components: Living things constitute the biotic component of the biosphere. These include living organisms such as plants and animals.
(ii) Abiotic Components: Abiotic components of the biosphere refers to the non-living condition that is air, water, and soil.
