Thermometer is used to measure temperature.
There are two points in a temperature scale an upper fixed point and a lower fixed point.
In a Celsius scale the lower fixed temperature is $0^{0} c$ and the upper fixed temperature is $100^{0} C$ .
In the case of the Kelvin scale the lower fixed temperature is $273 k$ and the upper fixed point is $373 k$ .
In the case of the Fahrenheit scale the lower fixed point is $32^{0} C$ and the upper fixed point is $212^{0} C$ .
