It is further divided into 3 types

2.Non stochiometric defect
3. Impurity defect
1. STOICHIOMETRIC DEFECT: It is further classified into 4 defects
1. Vacancy defect - Nacl, kcl, kbr etc
2.Interstitial defect -Agcl , zns etc
3.schotky defect - Agbr, kcl, kbr etc
4. Frenkel defect- Agbr, Agcl etc
