What are the types of literary sources? Give examples.

There are three kinds of literary sources namely religious, foreign and secular accounts. Literary sources remind us of our ancestor’s social, political, economic, cultural & religious activities. In nature, most of the ancient manuscripts are religious.

In addition to religious literature, also there is a huge volume of secular literature on math, science and medicine. In ancient and medieval times, many educated individuals travelled around the globe.

Examples: Vedas, puranas, journals etc
