The following are the types of manufacturing industry:

Analytical industry: In this industry type, analysis and separation of basic materials into different products takes place. The processing of crude oil is an example of analytical industry.

Synthetic industry: In this industry type, two or more materials are mixed together to create one new product. Production of soaps is an example of synthetic industry.

Processing industry: In this industry type, the end product is obtained after a seires of manufacturing operations. Textile industry is an example of processing industry.

Assembling industry: The final products that assembled to get the finished product. Radio is an example of assembling industry.
