  2. There are two types of venation in leaf: Reticulate venation and Parallel venation

Reticulate venation:

  1. In reticulate venation, the veins and veinlets are arranged in a reticulate or network form.
  2. Reticulate venation is found in the leaves of all the dicotyledonous plant.
  3. Example: Hibiscus, Rose, etc.

Parallel venation:

  1. In parallel venation, the veins run parallel to each other.
  2. Parallel venation is found in the leaves of all the monocotyledonous plant.
  3. Example: Coconut, Grass, etc.
