Solution

Answer:

A device that is used to measure the moisture content of the air is called a hygrometer. The relative humidity is measured in the air by a hygrometer. Relative humidity is represented as a proportion; it represents the amount of humidity in the air, or vapour, to the maximum amount of humidity that the air can possibly contain. On a scale of zero to 100, relative humidity is evaluated, the greater the value, the more moisture content in the air.

Hygrometer Uses

  • Identifying the moisture in the atmosphere.
  • Used in the gaseous mixture to detect water vapour present.
  • Used in the atmosphere to determine the moisture content.
  • Used in a various manufacturing method.
  • Used as a predictor of the weather.
  • Used to describe the relative humidity percentage.
  • Used in the method of storing food.
  • Used to describe the pressure in some instances.
