In a democracy citizen are the ultimate sovereign. Thus to ensure sovereignty, giving rights and protecting rights i important. Moreover, since people elect a government , they have all the right to know why certain rights have been seized. Thus, answerability too emerges. Protecting the spirit of democracy can never be possible without protecting the rights of the people. Ascertaining the proper development of the personality of its citizen, assuring rights is essential. Thus, all these values can be fulfilled by Constitutional remedies.
