Maintenance processes mean the processes which are essential for an organism to remain alive and continue the species. For example, Nutrition, Digestion, Absorption, Assimilation, Respiration, Circulation, Excretion, Egestion, Nervous conduction, Muscular and skeletal framework and movement, functioning of endocrine and neural system, Immune system to fight against diseases and infection. Regeneration, Formation of new cells in the body, reproduction, body balance and posture, working of five sense organs etc.
Maintenance processes generally done in cell in living organisms.
Cell performs the processes to make all things proper and to allow them to work done in proper way.
for ex. when you get hurt and your skin catch scratches then after few days a coating arises on it that is the maintanence of our skin.
