(ii) Vaccination: People should get vaccination to avoid infection

(iii) Sanitation: Proper sanitation can prevent spread of diseases.

(iv) Isolation: The patient should be separated to avoid infection to others.

(v) Sterilization: Patient's belongings should be sterilized

(vi) Eradication of vectors: The breeding places of the vectors (if any) should be destroyed and adult vectors killed by suitable methods.
