1. In filters
   1.1 Capacitors are selecting one signal with a certain frequency from a wide range of signals with many different frequencies.
   1.2 For example - tuning of radio frequencies.
2. AC coupling and DC blocking
   2.1 Capacitors are also used in AC coupling and DC blocking because capacitors do not allow the flow of DC through the circuit while AC can easily pass through the circuits.
   2.2 It is used in oscillators.
