Motion is defined as the change in an object's location with regard to time.
The types of motion are: 2.1 Linear motion: Any article that moves along a straight line is supposed to be in a linear motion. 2.2 Circular motion: In this movement, the beginning point and ending point of the particle are the same. The object is moving along a circular path. 2.3 Rotary motion: The object twirling around its own axis is known as rotary motion. 2.4 Oscillatory motion: When an object is moving in ‘ to and fro’ motion its mean position is said to be in oscillatory motion. 2.5 Periodic motion: When a motion occurs after an equal interval of time.
