Examples of viruses:

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV):

  1. Human Immunodeficiency Virus attacks cells that help the body fight infections.
  2. There is no cure for HIV but it is treatable with medicine.

Varicella-zoster virus:

  1. It is a primary infection that results in varicella (chickenpox).
  2. This causes chickenpox in humans.

Lyssavirus:

  1. Lyssaviruses are bullet-shaped, single-stranded, and negative-sense RNA viruses and the causative agents of ancient zoonosis rabies.
  2. This causes rabies in dogs, cats, humans, and other animals.
