Solution

Dear Student,

An X-rays takes a picture of the inside of our body. X-ray is wavelike forms of electromagnetic energy carried by articles called photons. The wavelengths are shorter with higher frequency. The wavelengths are shorter than ultraviolet and longer than gamma radiation. The photons are produced by the movement of electrons in atoms.

X-ray radiation consists of packet of energy known as photons. As they have no mass or charge, they move in straight lines. In ionization there are enough energy to liberate electrons from atoms. X-rays are produced by accelerating charged particles. When interacting with matter x-rays are a form of ionizing radiations. The "roentgen" is the unit that measures the ability of x rays to ionize air.
