Sore Tongue:
- Tongue is a muscular organ in the mouth that helps in eating, swallowing and speaking.
- Any pain or discomfort in any part or all of the tongue is referred as sore tongue.
- A sore tongue bothers when you speak or eat.
Causes of tongue soreness:
- Injury or trauma like biting or burning of tongue
- Irritation from braces
- Grinding your teeth
- Vitamin deficiency such as vitamin B12, iron
- Infections or mouth diseases can also cause sore tongue.
