What changes take place in human beings in childhood, adolescence, and adulthood?

A human goes through different stages of life:

  1. Infancy- When a baby is born, it feeds on the mother’s milk for 4-6 months, this is called infancy.

2. Childhood- Childhood is the next phase of a baby’s life, between 2 years to about 12-13 years.

3. Adolescence-

  1. During this phase, the child undergoes rapid physical and mental growth.
  2. Adolescence is the period of physical and psychological development from childhood to adulthood.
  3. This lasts from about 12 to 18 years of age.

4. Adulthood-

  1. As young adults pass from adolescence to adulthood, they learn to adjust better socially and emotionally.
  2. An adult person assumes more and more responsibilities and gets ready to face life.

5. Old age-

  1. After a certain age, an adult's body becomes weak and slow.
  2. The skin develops folds and wrinkles.
  3. An adult completes the responsibilities and is free to relax and enjoy life.
