What changes were needed in the Constitution? Explain any three reasons

Changes are needed in the constitution to keep pace with the changes taking place.

• Although the core of the constitution must not be changed, suitable changes must be made in it to reflect the changes taking place in the society.
• As India is a developing country, it continues to evolve. Sometimes it may happen that the values of past are no more valid in the present situation. Accordingly, changes must be made.
• With the growth in technology, population and military strength, the constitution that is the governing document must also change suitably.
