Rate and amount of evaporation
Supply of freshwaters from the rivers, glaciers and rainfall.
The temperature of ocean water is determined by the following two factors-
Latitude - Temperature of water decreases from equatorial to polar regions.
Seasonal changes
It is also to be noted that , temperature of ocean water decreases with depth .
