What different types of cells will you see when you observe a drop of blood under a microscope? What are their functions?

Answer :
If we observe drop of blood and microscope, we will observe the following cells -
i) Red blood cells or erythrocytes - the red blood cells contains iron and carries oxygen in the form of oxygen hemoglobin from lungs to all parts of the body.
ii) White blood cells or leukocytes - WBC's are primary defense against infection they attack and destroy germs that enter of the body.
iii) Platelets or thrombocytes - platelets help in stopping the blood by sticking to opening of the broken blood vessel and attract More platelets to form a clot.
