Some diseases that attack the nervous system are –
Epilepsy: This disease disrupts the activity of brain cells called neurons, which normally transmit messages in the form of electrical impulses
Alzheimer’s disease: It destroys neurons and their connections in parts of the brain involved in memory, including the entorhinal cortex and hippocampus.
Bell’s palsy:In Bell's palsy, that nerve becomes inflamed and swollen.
Cerebral palsy: Cerebral palsy affects the motor area of the brain's outer layer (called the cerebral cortex), the part of the brain that directs muscle movement.
