Question

What do the Nitrogen do in our body which go through inhalation?

Open in App
Solution

Dear student,
There is no affinity of haemoglobin with nitrogen, helium and other gases of the air therefore as we inhale air all the other gases without getting used anywhere are exhaled as such from our nose. Haemoglobin has affinity with oxygen, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide etc so haemoglobin combines with these gases after inhalation and undergoes respiration.
