For doing subtraction,
One's digit of minuend must be subtracted by one's digit of subtrahend, ten's digit of minuend must be subtracted by ten's digit of subtrahend and so on ...

So, first subtracting the digits at Ones place,


Now subtracting the digits at Tens place, we get

23, which is not possible

As we know that,

326=3 Hundreds +2 Tens +6 Ones

But, 1 Hundreds =10 Tens

3 Hundreds +2 Tens +6 Ones =2 Hundreds +12 Tens +6 Ones

Therefore, for subtracting Digits at Tens place, we will borrow 1 Hundreds from 3 Hundreds.

So, digit at Tens place will become 12.
