What do we mean if its wriiten that a body is placed at higher potential?

Dear Student ,

If we had defined negative as high potential, then positive would have been low potential.
We chose positive = high so we say positive = high.
Electrons try to move from negative ( lower potential) to positive ( higher potential)
which means nothing but conventional current ( opposite to the direction of electron flow) flows from higher potential to lower potential.
