Population density is the number of people present in a unit square kilometre.
Population density = Total population/ Total area
It is expressed as the number of people per unit area
Let’s take the example of some places.
When you visit places like Bangalore, Delhi, etc, you can see a lot of people in a limited area. Places like these are crowded.
Now, let's move to some other places like Ladakh where you can see fewer people. These places are not that crowded.
