2. It impacts the normal functional or structural state of an organism.
3. It is associated with certain symptoms and signs.

Disease symptoms:

1. They are the visual changes witnessed in humans because of the unusual functioning or dysfunction of one or more systems of the body.
2. It also refers to an indication of the existence of a specific disease.
3. The symptoms can be of three types, which are:

• Remitting symptoms: When the symptoms resolve or improve completely.
• Chronic symptoms: They are recurrent or long-lasting symptoms.
• Relapsing symptoms: These are the symptoms, which took place in the past, resolved, and then returned.

Examples of symptoms:

1. Cough is a common symptom of lung infection.
2. One of the prime symptoms of chickenpox is lesions on the skin.
