Friction:
Friction occurs when two surfaces move together and offer resistance to one another.
When a ball is thrown, it moves up until it reaches a certain height and then stops.
An external force acts on the ball, causing it to stop. Friction is the name given to this external force.
The four types of friction are static friction, sliding friction, rolling friction, and fluid friction.
