Question

What do you mean by magnetic induced current?

Open in App
Solution

Dear student,
When a conductor is brought in a changing magnetic field, the free electrons of the conductor experiences a force called Lorentz Force. This force makes the electrons to move in a particular direction within the conductor. And we know flow of electron (or charge) is current. This current developed in the conductor because of a changing magnetic field is called induced current.
