Metals have the following physical properties.

(i)Lustre - Metals have a shiny surface and they reflect light

(ii)Hardness - Metals are hard

(iii)Sonority - Metals produce ringing sound when hit hence they are sonorous

(iv)Malleability - Metals can be drawn into thin sheets hence they are malleable

(v)Ductility - Metals can be drawn into thin wires hence they are ductile
