1. When an object simultaneously shows the combination of two or more types of motion, then this combination of motions is called multiple or complex motions.
2. Motion of the earth:- The Earth rotates its own axis and simultaneously revolves around the sun.
3. A car moving on a road shows translatory motion but its wheel shows rotatory motion.
4. A ball rolling down a smooth inclined surface shows both translatory and rotatory motion.
