Radius of gyration of the body:- It is defined as the distance from the axis of the rotation to a point where the total mass of the body is supposed to be concentrated is known as radius of gyration. It is denoted by $K$.

Dimension of radius of gyration $K$

$I=M{K}^2$

$K=\sqrt{\frac{I}{M}}$. . . . .(1)

where, $M=$ mass of a body

$I=$ moment of inertia
