Dear student,
A state is a territory within a large country that has its boundary and governmental power. The state is a necessary political organization with a centralized government that has its legitimate power to use force within a certain territory. A state has four elements; these are a defined territory, a permanent population, a government, and a capacity for entering into relations with other states. A state can be of two types whether democratic or dictatorship.
