What do you mean by uncertainty?

Solution

  1. Uncertainty is the change in the value of measurement that arises due to certain environmental factors or human errors.
  2. It is usually represented as a range of values that are likely to enclose the true value of measurement.
  3. Measured values are usually represented using the following notation: measured value±uncertainty.
  4. Heisenberg's uncertainty principle states that at the same time we cannot measure an accurate value of the position(x) and momentum of an object (p).
  5. If the value of one of these will be accurate the other one will be less accurate.
  6. The equation is given as
    xph/4π
  7. Where x=change in the position of an object, p = change in momentum, a sign indicates thatx.pis equal to or less than h/4π.
