When a particle moves in a circular path with constant speed, the motion of that particle is said to be a uniform circular motion
The speed remains constant in the uniform circular motion but the direction of motion of the object changes continuously.
Due to this change in direction, we can say that the velocity of the object changes in this motion.
So the motion of the object is said to be accelerated and the acceleration is called radial acceleration which acts along the radius of the circular path.
