Uniform motion:

  1. A body is said to be in uniform motion when it travels an equal distance in an equal time interval.
  2. In the case of uniform motion, the body's acceleration is zero.
  3. In this case, the object's average speed equals its actual speed.
  4. When an object moves with uniform motion, it moves in a straight line at a constant speed.
  5. A car moving at a constant velocity, a boy running in a straight line at a constant speed, and so on are examples of uniform motion.
